FAQ

FAQ

Q: Where are you located and do you ship to Canada or the US?

A: We are located in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada and we are proudly a Canadian company. Yes, we ship to our friends down south, actually we will ship to any country in the world. If you're concerned about a possible overseas shipping rate, please email us and we will work with you to figure out a solution.

Q: What's the style of the shop? Are you preppy, modern, nautical?

A: All of the above and more! We like to use the phrase "Colourful and Classic" We like things that are bright and cheery. We also like things to be classic. We don't think of classic or preppy as a trend, it's a way of life! If you decorate your home in a trend, chances are you will be redoing it when the next trend comes along. That's expensive and time consuming. If you choose classic items, they will stand for the life of your home. Decorate once and then spend the rest of your time Celebrating This Life!

Q: What shipping carrier do you use?

A: We ship with Canada Post or offer local pick up for Waterloo Region. When a package ships to the United States, it is delivered by USPS.

Q: There is an issue with my order. Who do I contact?

A: Feel free to reach out at Celebratingthislife@gmail.com or send a DM on Instagram @Celebratingthislife

Q: I've just placed an order (yippee!) when will it ship?

A: Thank you!! Your order will ship the following business day and you will receive an email confirmation with tracking code. All of our packages are tracked and insured.

Q: An item I was looking at sold. Will there be a restock?

A: At present time (June '20) everything in the CTL Shop is one of a kind and we are not able to restock. If you see something you love, buy it before someone else does!

Q: What's with the star logo?

A: Why a star? Well, our founder loves stars and the concept of a north star always being a steady constant. Our shop is all about colourful and classic style. We won't veer away from that, our founding principal, and follow trends. We are constant and will always strive to provide the most classic items we can find.

There's also the association with the north being Canada. We're Canadian and proud to start a company in this great country. No matter where we roam, Canada will always be our home and the north star will always guide us back. Our star symbol also has a touch of nautical flare to it and who doesn't love all things nautical!

Q: What is your return policy?

A: We're a small shop and ask that you please read the product descriptions and sizes very carefully. That being said, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Send us an email at Celebratingthislife@gmail.com and we can work something out.

Q: Will you be carrying any of your own products?

A: Yes, eventually. The goal is to offer vintage and unique items as well as CTL made products. We are committed to designing and manufacturing our items in Canada and the US and finding the right partners to work with who are also committed to this will take some time.

Q: Will you be adding any new product lines? I love the table runner you shared in your IG Stories!

A: Hey eagle eyes, thanks for noticing our prototype! Yes, we are going to be adding new product lines every few months and since we are all obsessed with tablescapes at CTL those will be the next items offered. Make sure you are signed up for the CTL newsletter so that you will be the first to know about new product releases.

Q: Are you hiring? Will you be accepting internship applications?

A: Unfortunately we're not hiring right now. We are a small company of two and while we are excited and want to grow, we also want to do this right. We need to grow with the demand to ensure the longevity of the company. As for internships, please reach out at Celebratingthislife@gmail.com to discuss the possibility.

Q: What types of shipping materials do you use?

A: At CTL we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint as much as we can. All of our packages are shipped in reused cardboard boxes and all paper packing is made with recycled materials. We've yet to find a more eco-friendly alternative to bubble wrap but we're working on it!

Q: Where's Ivy?

A: Laying on the floor, waiting for her next treat or walk. You can follow her Instagram account @Celebratingivy

Q: Will you be opening a physical store?

A: That's the dream! We would love to open just a handful of shops in key locations in Canada and the US. Give us some time. We'll get there.

Q: Is the Celebrating This Life blog still going?

A: Yes! It is now located at celebratingthislife.ca and we are still posting. We want to be a resource for discovering your personal style and guiding you in the art of living. If you have a blog post suggestion, send it our way!
